How Can You Help?

PLEASE GET INVOLVED! Here are three suggestions if you want to join forces with North Carolinians Against the Outlying Landing Field. This is the most serious threat to Northeastern North Carolina that we have ever faced. It will change our quality of life, will be detrimental to the environment, our economy, and our safety, and is manifestly unjust in that Virginia will continue to reap the economic benefits of Oceana while Camden, Currituck, and Gates counties and Northeastern North Carolina as a whole will be expected to bear the burden.

1. Write to your elected representatives. On the Elected Officials Contact page are the names and addresses of several elected officials who we need on our side. Let them know how you feel!

2. Volunteer your talents. From public relations to fundraising to historical and environmental research, there is plenty to be done. Contact us and let us know how you’d like to contribute your talents.

3. Financial contributions. This effort will require a significant financial investment. Yard signs, billboards, newspaper and television advertisements are not cheap…but we need them. Financial contributions can be sent to:
